Paint Grade Kaolin

Product Overview:

Aalok Overseas India offers Paint Grade Kaolin, a fine extender pigment used in paints, primers,putty and texture coatings to improve opacity, sheen control, dispersion and cost efficiency. Its controlled oil absorption and particle size allow smooth incorporation into water-based and solvent-based paint formulations, partially replacing higher-cost TiO2 without compromising finish quality.

Chemical Analysis (Typical): Al2O3: 36-38% | SiO2: 46-48% | Fe2O3: <0.4% | TiO2: <0.4% | LOI: 12-13% | GE Brightness: 84-89% | Oil absorption: 38-48 g/100g | Particle size: 1-5 micron. 

Mesh Sizes / Fineness:

325 mesh, 44 micron, 10 micron and 2 micron ultra-fine paint-grade kaolin, engineered for consistent dispersion and gloss control.

Emulsion & distemper paints, primers & undercoats, exterior texture coatings, putty & wall fillers, industrial coatings requiring extender pigments for improved opacity, viscosity control and cost optimization.
